Report of the
Trustees of the Turner Free Library
Turner Free Library had another busy year in both materials borrowed and ongoing building maintenance. I direct you to the “Report of the Director of Turner Free Library” for more specific details. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many supporters of the Turner Library and their efforts to bring the library back into compliance and on the road to recertification. I would like to thank all those involved who supported our efforts to make available to the patrons a library that is we can be proud of. Through the process of returning the library to a 56 hour schedule the staff continues to provide library patrons with exemplary service. I would also like to thank Charles Michaud, Director of the Library, for his 25 years of dedicated service to the library.
As the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, I take this opportunity to publicly thank the library staff, for their dedication and professionalism; the volunteers for the gift of their time and dedication; the Friends of the Turner Library for their continued support and the numerous activities and events that they sponsor to enrich our community and our lives; and the members of the Board of Trustees of the library for their commitment to the ideals and goals of the Turner Free Library, their support and council.
Respectfully submitted
Scott F. Cartwright, President
Board of Trustees
